The challenge

In a focused review for Protect Me Egypt, some search-ad wording and keywords pointed toward glass repair or replacement rather than the protection-film services being advertised. On 10 September 2026, we updated two existing search ads and paused six repair-and-replacement keywords to make the campaign’s message more closely reflect the service.

The work

We revised headlines and descriptions to name protection-film services and available branches. The two ads were saved and reopened for review in Google Ads. Their existing destination URLs and campaign budgets were left unchanged. We paused the six mismatched keywords rather than deleting them, so the decision could be reviewed if the service scope changed.

A closer look at the copy

These are transcriptions of two edited headline positions, not screenshots or a reproduction of the Google Ads interface.

Headline example 1

Before: Auto Car Glass
Saved on 10 September 2026: Windshield Protection Film

Headline example 2

Before: Car Window Glass Replacement
Saved on 10 September 2026: Professional Window Tint

The replacement text described film and tint services instead of suggesting glass replacement. Separately, revised descriptions named branch options and invited the visitor to request an appointment. The examples show the words changed; they do not prove how people understood them or how the ads performed afterward.

What this shows—and what remains open

This was a targeted relevance correction: two ads updated, six keywords paused and the changes checked after saving. At the time, the ads were reported as enabled and eligible, while the new ad-strength assessment was still pending. This case does not establish a rise in leads or sales, savings, a profitable acquisition cost, or a fix to the separate branch-attribution issue.
